ABSTRACT

Objective@#To preliminarily develop Health Literacy Scale for pupils, providing a tool for dynamic monitoring and related health literacy research among pupils.@*Methods@#Through policy and literature review, the health literacy evaluation index system of pupils was established. Through two rounds of expert consultation, the evaluation index system and scale item pool of three levels in primary school were formed, and "Evaluation Scale 1.0" was developed. Through two panel discussions, health education experts, teachers and students were invited to provide advices on the content, expression and structure of scale 1.0, turning it into "Evaluation Scale 2.0", and completing the preliminary development of the scale.@*Results@#The health literacy assessment index system of primary school students includes three levels, including level-1 was Grade 1-2, level-2 was Grade 3-4,level-3 was Grade 5-6, covering two level indexes. The scale for primary school students contained five horizontal dimensions and four vertical dimensions. In the Delphi consultation, the response rate was 100%, and the authority coefficient was 0.85. After item selection and modification, the final version of level-1, level-2 and level-3 scales contained 36, 44 and 50 items respectively.@*Conclusion@#The development of Health Literacy Evaluation Scale for pupils has high applicability and practical value.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective To investigate the symptoms, signs and distribution of focus in acute insular infarct syndrome, as well as the effects on cardiovascular system. Methods The clinical manifestations of 20 patients with first-event acute insular infarct syndrome were analyzed retrospectively. Results All the patients revealed the intellectual deterioration, aphasia, hemiparalysis, sensory disorder and vestibular-like symptoms. The temporal lobes were mostly involved (65%). Electrocardiogram showed ST segment depressed mostly. The supraventricular premature beats were the most frequence finding by Holter monitoring in left insular infarction except atrial fibrillation, and their heart rate variability indicated that the standard deviation of normal-to-normal intervals (SDNN) decreased, but root mean square successive difference (RMSSD) increased. Conclusion The insular infarct syndrome can be charactered as a group of symptoms of intellectual deterioration, aphasia, hemiparalysis, sensory disorder and vestibular-like symptom. Left insular infarct could be complicated with arrhythmia, which increases the risk of adverse cardiac outcome. The characteristics of arteries to Sylvian angle may be associated with the syndrome.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective To observe the effect of early multidisciplinary rehabilitation therapy on stroke patients. Methods 80 cases of acute stroke were randomly divided into the rehabilitation group (n=40) and control group (n=40). All patients of two groups were treated with routine treatment, and those of the rehabilitation group were added with early multidisciplinary rehabilitation therapy. The degrees of clinical neural function defect, motor function and activities of daily living (ADL) of all patients in two groups were assessed by the clinical neural function defect assessment (NIHSS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and Barthel Index (BI) before and one month after treatment. Results The scores of NIHSS, FMA and BI of patients in two groups were not different before treatment ( P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of patients of the rehabilitation group were significantly higher than that of the control group ( P<0.01).Conclusion Early multidisciplinary rehabilitation therapy can improve the neural function, ADL and raise the quality of life of post stoke patients.
